Jorge's Log
7/9/20 - This week has been all about generating the thmes and topics we are going to cover in ther band.
21/9/20 – As a group we have been focusing on creating a presentation proposal to deliver to our course tutor, outlining our goals and hops for this project, and also our ideas for what’s to come.
12/10/20 - this week I have been working on creating an opening to our band which can be used as an introduction to who we are and what we are going to be doing. It will be my job to get that filmed and edited.
24/10/20 - I have come up with a concept/a few ideas which will become my track that contributes towards our team's EP. I have also been the main spear head on filming and editing the documentary.
2/11/20 - I have been working on some of the more administrative aspects of our project including our budgeting and also working on the website which we can exhibit all of our group's work through.
20/11/20 - I have worked with Dylan to help him come up with lyrics for his and the other tracks in our EP as well as doing some recordings for the lead vocals. I have also been doing things like setting up microphones in the studio to record these vocals as well as my own.
3/12/20 - I Have been working with my band member to get there's songs written as well as been developing my own ideas. I will also be editing out meeting with Fader Events.
10/12/20 - I have worked with Dylan to adapt his track into an acoustic song which will be included on the EP as almost something of a bonus track. the two of us went back into the recording studio to perform and recorded this as well as simultaneously making a video to accompany it.
6/1/21 - I Have been working on editing the music video and also started recording my own track.
20/1/21 - I have worked with Sam on tweaking sections of my track in order to make the mixing process as straight forward for him as possible. This has also entailed doing things such as creating both effect bypassed and included stems for him to use in the mixing process.
12/2/21 - I Have finished the Music video and the recording of my track to be sent off to sam. I Have also Been asked by Josh to re-work his video into a full song.
26/2/21 - With Me Completing Josh's work, and with my track sent to sam. He also Sent me his track to write lyrics to and mix.
5/3/21 - I decided that I wanted to re-do the vocals on my track to I asked sam to send me the mixed track without the vocals fo me to two track. I feel like this was a good choice because the previous vocals where sub par. I will also be sending off the Acoustic cover for release this Monday.
26/3/21 - Now that I have Mastered all of the Tracks and ensured that they all have the correct timings, I will now be working on some promotional material for our social media platforms and with the Acoustic single released I Can now submit the fullEP to stores, ready for release on the 2nd of April.
2/4/21 - The release went well and my work on social media has been garnering some hype.
16/4/21 - Now with the EP Released we can start working on the Live Show that we will be putting on with fader events. this is going to be a filmed live show that can be streamed live.
30/4/21 - The Live show has been recorded and I will be editing both the music we recorded and all of the footage we collected on the day.
7/5/21 - I Have finished the Live Show and Sent it to Fader events for them to upload to be streamed.
